Cinco siglos - Five centuries
Tanto me he dejado sumir en la rutina diaria, que hasta ahora caigo en cuenta de que ayer se cumplieron cinco años desde que salí de Colombia. Cinco años que parecen cinco minutos cuando recuerdo la noche en que empaqué mis maletas, pero que parecen cinco siglos cuando pienso en todo lo que no cupo en ellas.
I have allowed myself to get so immerse in my daily routine, that just until now I realize that, as of yesterday, it’s been five years since I left Colombia. Five years that seem five minutes when I recall the night when I made my bags, but that seem five centuries when I think about all that did not fit in them.
